At first I started the blog on wordpress.com, which is for non-professionals. For years I thought that I could learn more about the details involved to switch to the wordpress.org version, which is for professionals.
A little later I started an identical blog at blogger, just to learn more. It has a lot more options.
It turns out that upgrading to professional wordpress.org is way too hard for me. Blogger lets me do everything I like. So I decided to put all my eggs into one basket.
I’ve taken the liberty of moving the regular email subscribers to the new blog. For those who have subscribed via RSS, please visit the new blog and renew your subscription there.

Flight of the Concords is famous for their silly songs. Here is what the Wikipedia says about them:
Flight of the Conchords is a New Zealand-based comedy duo composed of Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement. The duo’s comedy and music became the basis of a BBC radio series and then an American television series, which premiered in 2007 on HBO, also called Flight of the Conchords. They used to refer to themselves as „New Zealand’s 4th most popular guitar-based digi-bongo acapella-rap-funk-comedy folk duo“, however now are „the almost award-winning fourth-most-popular folk duo in New Zealand.“
And The Guardian has their best songs listed here.
This video walks us through their creative process. The humor at the beginning is a bit slow. After about five minutes they go to a school to interview kids for their charity song.

Now you can order: ‚the same as Lord Sandwich‘, when you get to your favorite diner.
